NURS 7207 Advanced Pathophysiology and Pharmacotherapeutics II
This course is the second of a three-part sequence that builds on foundational principles of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. Using a systems approach, an in-depth study of select coexisting diseases and pharmacotherapeutics with a focus on anesthetic implications is provided. This course builds on foundational principles of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology across the lifespan. An in-depth systems approach is used to study select coexisting diseases and pharmacotherapeutics, with an emphasis on their impact in anesthesia practice. Focus is on the endocrine, hepatic, and renal systems.
