NURS 7104 Transition to Professional Nurse Anesthesiology

This course facilitates the student’s transition to professional nurse anesthesiology practice. Emphasis is placed on the CRNA as a leader, scholar, educator, advocate and life-long learner. The purpose of this course is to prepare students for independent, entry-level CRNA practice and assimilation into their future role as doctoral-prepared advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs). Topical areas include credentialing, mentorship and teaching, international practice, advocacy, and association leadership.
