EDUC 3325 Child Development and Play

Child Development and Play focuses on the developing child from birth through the early elementary years. The course presents the developing child’s growth through the theoretical framework of play. This course specifically addresses the ages and stages of development, the developmental domains, the role of play and creative expression through the visual arts, music, creative drama, and other play activities. Throughout the course students will develop their understanding of the potential impact of current trends in issues in play and child development.  This course may not be repeated for credit.
