PEHP 1112 Jiu Jitsu

This course introduces the practice of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a grappling based martial arts. In this course students will learn principles and skills of leverage, ground fight, ground control and submission holds. This curriculum is designed to introduce skills in a safe and progressive manner, building a solid foundation for further study of Grappling techniques. This course will also emphasize physical conditioning, personal safety, and self-defense.
