PEHP 1111 Self-Defense

This is a beginning physical activity course in which students will develop the basic skills necessary perform self-defense. Instruction will focus on the fundamental purposes of self-defense training including throws, falling, striking, sweeps, body joint manipulations, body locks and other self-defense techniques from various styles of martial arts like Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Judo and other techniques that will provide fundamentals for protection against violent attacks.
