EDUC 3357 Teaching Mathematics II in Elementary Grades

This course is the second in a two-course sequence and builds on students’ developing understanding of the mathematical concepts needed for effective elementary classroom instruction. Students actively engage with geometry, measurement, probability, and statistics while also examining instructional design and assessment practices in mathematics education. Together, the two courses provide the foundational mathematics knowledge elementary educators are expected to understand, teach, and apply.
