Grounded in evidence-based practices, it develops students’ understanding of key mathematics concepts, such as number sense, operations, patterns, algebra, fractions, and decimals, with an emphasis on problem-solving. Students learn from both learner and teacher perspectives, and develop the skills to interpret student thinking, support diverse learners, and foster inquiry-based classrooms. Prerequisite: MATH 1304: College Algebra, MATH 1311: Precalculus, or MATH 2312: Calculus (with a C or higher)
