NURS 7301 Physical Sciences in Nurse Anesthesiology

This foundational course explores principles of physics, inorganic and organic chemistry, and biochemistry as they relate to nurse anesthesiology practice. This course focuses on the concepts of physics, general and organic chemistry, and biochemistry and their application and interrelationships to the understanding of basic physiologic and pharmacologic principles. A review of mathematics for pharmacology is included. Concepts will be applied to anesthesiology equipment and practice.
