NURS 7205 Advanced Seminar in Anesthesiology I

This course is the first of a two-part sequence that uses instructional conversations and dialogic teaching to support integration of the theoretical and practical principles involved in the delivery of anesthetic to patients across the lifespan. The student will gain skills in critiquing anesthetic plans and techniques using the best current evidence and personal experiences garnered during clinical residency. This course will use construction, collaborative learning, and self-reflection to support integration of concepts and experiences from across the curriculum. This sequence will help prepare students to transition from the student to professional role, while preparing for board certification.
