OMED 8273 The ABCDs of Medicare Elective Clerkship

This 2-week elective examines Medicare. Learners survey the program’s four parts – A (hospital insurance), B (medical insurance), C (managed care), and D (drugs). They consider the policies that drive the program. And they encounter some of the important laws and regulations that govern it. This elective is synchronous and combines readings, small group discussions, case studies, and learner presentations.
