HADM 6370 Healthcare Marketing

The rapidly changing technological, competitive, regulatory, and reimbursement structures in the health care delivery environment today raise new and ever evolving challenges for health care organizations. Students are introduced to critical marketing concepts, techniques, and strategies that enable organizations to better identify and serve their existing and newly targeted customers’ needs. This course builds upon the healthcare strategy course by focusing on the marketing strategy functions, including product development, pricing, advertising and promotions, distribution, consumer behavior, and target market analysis. Students will develop a comprehensive marketing analysis and plan for a healthcare related product or service. Additionally, students will conduct an integrated business case analysis that integrates many of the Master of Health Administration program competencies.
