MUSI 3351 Music in Asian Theater
Students explore music as an integral component of selected types of Asian theater. Representative works are explored from a variety of analytical perspectives, including ones informed by history, theater studies, art history, cultural theory, and ethnomusicology. May count toward the world music requirement (MUSI 3348) for all Music degrees other than the B.M. degree with a major in Music Therapy. Will satisfy the upper-level Music elective requirement for the Music minor.
