ANGD 1302 Elements of Design

This studio course examines the elements of 2D and 3D design that create effective storytelling and visual communication. The principles of organization, color theory, unity, texture, contrast, rhythm, form, movement, balance, pattern, value, Gestalt, proportion, line, shape, and form will be central to the approach. A variety of traditional and digital media will be used to explore the theories and application of design and design theory.
