Engineering—Bachelor of Science

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Website: Bachelor of Science in Engineering

College/School: School of Mathematics, Science and Engineering

Apply to UIW: Application for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering program

Concentrations: Electrical, Management, Mechanical, and Mechatronics

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree program provides students a strong foundation in engineering principles with an emphasis on the programming of devices, signal analysis, electrical frequencies, interpretation of random signals, feedback systems, control of systems, tradeoffs between sensitivity and performance, and control theory. Students have options to work on robotics and other devices.

A minimum of 129 credit hours are required to complete the Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree program in one of these concentrations: Electrical, Management, Mechatronics, and Mechanical. Each concentration requires a strong core of math, science, and engineering courses, in addition to the foundational coursework of the UIW common core.
