ATHP 6242 Leadership in Athletic Training
This course focuses on evidence-based foundational principles for leadership development within the field of athletic training. An emphasis will be placed on professionalism, outcomes assessment, program effectiveness, scope of practice, and expectations from various stakeholders in the field of athletic training. Students will develop an understanding of the populations they serve as well as challenges to obtaining appropriate and adequate healthcare. Developing and critically appraising a topic of interest serves as the foundation to the successful student’s programmatic capstone.
