Requirements for the Asian Studies Concentration

21 hours from the following areas:

1. 9 semester hours distributed as follows:

or

HIST 2332Introduction to Asian History

 

HIST 4336Topics in Chinese History

HIST 4338Topics in South Asian History

2. 6 semester hours in an Asian language beyond the first two semesters.

These six hours may be completed through language study abroad, with approval of the Asian Studies advisor

With approval of the Asian Studies advisor, students will select 6 hours from the courses below (3 hours from each group).
