PSYC 3355 Psychology of Women

Students examine the broad range of experiences women and girls encounter across their lifespan. Using both a developmental and topical approach, students explore the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial aspect of girls' and women's lives.  Students review the historical events leading up to modern women's psychology, as well as a rationale for studying the psychology of women. Conducting research on women's issues is explored with a discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of traditional methods. (Offered as needed)
