Admission to Teacher Certification and Teacher Apprenticeship
Students enrolled in the Teacher Education Program who plan to pursue initial teaching certification must also formally apply, and be admitted, to the Teacher Certification Program (TCP) before enrolling in professional development coursework. Students may apply for admission during announced application periods each semester. Students must be admitted to the respective UIW degree program prior to application to the Teacher Certification Program. Enrollment in the Teacher Education Program does not guarantee acceptance to the Teacher Certification Program.
