HIST 4338 Topics in South Asian History
This course examines ancient, medieval and modern history of South Asia, thematically and topically. Topics taught under this course will address how the different factors, political, social, and economic and ideas of caste-class, religion and religious identities, gender, colonialism, nationalism and revolution and lastly regionalism have shaped and molded the region's history. May be repeated for credit. May be taken as a CLST or INST elective.
