Pastoral Ministry - AA

Program Overview

The Associate of Arts in Pastoral Ministry is a 60 credit hour degree that allow students to take introductory courses covering doctrines of the faith, the Bible, liturgy, and ministry in the church and community. The Core Curriculum requirements (18 credit hours) give students a foundation in the humanities, religious studies, math, and social sciences. The Major Curriculum of 18 credit hours will be taken at MACC. General Electives may be taken at UIW or MACC for a total of 24 credit hours. 22 clock hours of community service are required to graduate. Admission requirements are the same as the requirements for admission to the university. This course of study prepares students to work in ministry or religious education, and continue on to the BA in Religious Studies or Pastoral Ministry.
