RELS 3344 Money, Happiness, and the Good Life
This course examines the intricate relationship between money, happiness, and conceptions of the good life. By integrating insights from economics, psychology, philosophy, and religious studies, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how monetary concerns intersect with broader notions of well-being. The course critically examines theories and real-world applications, incorporating self-reflection and practical exercises to explore the subjective and objective aspects of money and happiness. Emphasis is placed on Catholic moral thought and the broader religious and ethical dimensions of money, happiness, and the pursuit of a good life.
