KEHP 2301 Fitness Assessment & Exercise Prescription
This course covers laboratory and field tests utilized to assess five components of physical fitness. Test results are used to develop individualized exercise prescriptions to improve cardio-respiratory fitness, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and body composition in healthy individuals and those with controlled diseases. Additionally, utilizing national CPR/AED guidelines, students will have the opportunity to be certified in CPR/AED upon successful completion of the written and skills assessments.
