CHEM 4340 Forensic Chemistry

This course studies advanced applications of chemistry within the field of forensic science including chemical testing, instrumental analysis, interpretation of instrumental results, and relevance to disciplines within the crime laboratory. Students will learn how principles in chemistry are used in forensic disciplines such as trace evidence, toxicology, controlled substances, and explosives.
