PUHL 6315 Maternal and Child Health
This course provides an introductory overview of major issues, programs, and policies that impact the health and well-being of the maternal and child health (MCH) population, including women, infants, children, adolescents, and their families, in the US and globally. Key concepts throughout include a life course perspective; consideration of health equity and disparities in disease, health outcomes, and access to health care; and levels of prevention.
