ENGL 3371 EcoCriticism

This course prepares students to obtain a holistic understanding of environmental justice and its relationship to social justice with the ultimate aim of inspiring students to assume a life-long commitment to environmental stewardship and service with and for others. Students will study how academic theories and models intersect with activism and community service, while engaging in service-learning activities and experiential learning opportunities that will deepen their ability to think critically about human impacts on the natural world. As a required course in the Concentration in Sustainability Studies, this course will help students assemble and integrate knowledge and skills learned across their time in the Concentration.
