CRJU 3343 Probation, Parole and Community
This course is designed to introduce students to the feeling of American Exceptionalism. It leads students to the exploration of various physical and virtual Critical Infrastructure of the United States, why these are important, and why they must be protected. It then ushers in the students to functions of the Immigration and Customs department, outlines the role the Border Protection agency and the Coast Guard play in protecting Critical Infrastructure in particular and the Homeland as a whole. The course closes with a look at the mission of the National Cyber Security Division in the wake of an increase in the possibility of the use of information and communication technology to attack the Homeland.
