This elective will introduce the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver quality telemedicine services, emphasize the increasing role and applications of telemedicine in the healthcare system, and highlight the differences between in-person and remote clinical encounters. Learners will develop clinical skills, such as diagnosing, monitoring, treating, consulting, and educating through the use of telecommunication technologies.
