MUSI 1110 Freshman Music Seminar
Freshman music majors explore core repertory, health, and safety issues, and career options for musicians. Students listen to representative musical works, in recorded and occasionally live performance, and develop basic literacy in a variety of musical styles. Students learn about the maintenance of health and safety within the context of practice, performance, teaching, and listening. Various career options in Music are introduced by faculty, guests speakers, or visiting artists. Offered in Fall and Spring.
