ENGL 3371 EcoCriticism

This course prepares students to obtain a holistic understanding of environmental justice and its relationship to social justice with the ultimate aim of inspiring students to assume a life-long commitment to environmental stewardship and service with and for others. Students will study how academic theories and models intersect with activism and community service, while engaging in service-learning activities and experiential learning opportunities that will deepen their ability to think critically about human impacts on the natural world. As a required course in the Concentration in Sustainability Studies, this course will help students assemble and integrate knowledge and skills learned across their time in the Concentration. Offered in Fall, Spring, and Summer.
