BFIN 3326 Risk Management and Insurance

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of risk management and insurance. The topics reviewed include: principles of insurance, risk management exposure, the process of risk management, legal aspects of insurance, insurance needs and analysis, and insurance policy selection. Course material concentrates on personal insurance lines, including life and casualty. The students will apply the knowledge acquired to analyze insurance needs for different types of households.
