CHEM 3441 Inorganic Chemistry
This course will provide an understanding of inorganic chemistry with an emphasis on the fundamental principles behind reactivity. Emphasis is on both description and theory of inorganic substances. Studies include atomic structure, ionic and covalent bonding, acid-base concepts of inorganic substances, structure, bonding, thermodynamics, and reaction mechanisms of transition metal complexes. Prerequisites: CHEM 2311 with grades of C or higher.
