REHS 3410 Introduction to Pathology and Pharmacology for the Healthcare Provider

This course focuses on the pathophysiology of prominent acute and chronic diseases of the major body systems.  Students will study the inter-dependency of body systems and the conditions that affect human health and well-being.  Other topics include risk factors associated with these conditions, as well as their response to, and impact on, physical activity.  In addition, the specific pharmacological approaches that are most prevalent in treating pathological conditions will also be covered during this course.
