PSYC 3387 Research Methods II

This course provides students with detailed knowledge of how research methods may be used to evaluate claims in the behavioral and social sciences.  Research designs to be covered include observational, correlational, single and two-group designs, within-subject and between-group designs, designs with more than two levels of a single independent variable.  The ethical context of research as well as professional writing standards and APA-style will be emphasized.  This course is writing intensive; students will complete a multiple-draft, APA-style research proposal.

Prerequisite

PSYC 3381 and PSYC 3384 with a grade of C or better
