PSYC 2370 Child and Adolescent Development

This course examines the continuity of human development from conception through adolescence.  The interrelationship among the biological, cognitive, and psychosocial domains of development is explored at the various stages of child development:  Prenatal, Infancy & Toddlerhood, Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, & Adolescence.  Upon successful completion of the course the student will have an understanding of the basic concepts, theories, and research methodology that contribute to the understanding of Child & Adolescent Development. This course may be used as a Human Development course for Psychology majors, as PSYC elective, or as a general elective. This course may not be repeated for credit.
