METR 4340 Precipitation Physics and Weather Modification

This course examines the mechanisms of cloud droplet, rain, ice crystal, snowflake, hail initiation and growth in the content of clouds in the atmosphere. It will introduce the student to the fundamentals of cloud and weather modification including principles and techniques used. The goal is to equip the student with fundamental of precipitation processes and how such processes can be modified by human intervention.
