MUSI 1320 Music Appreciation

This course exposes the non-musician to the basic mechanics of music and music making (instruments, sound, rhythm, texture, etc.) and also to a wide variety of musical styles, from the Middle Ages to the pop genres of the present. Students will obtain the tools and the experience necessary in order to develop the capacity to understand and value different musical styles. Fulfills the CORE Fine Arts requirement. No prerequisite.
