MATH 3355 Introduction to Numerical Analysis

This course covers elementary numerical algorithms for mathematical and scientific computing: interpolation, numerical calculus, and numerical solutions to algebraic equations and systems of equations and differential equations. Topics also include eigenvalue problems and matrix decompositions.

Prerequisite

MATH 2313 and MATH/ENGR 2340 (or one higher level computer programming language in place of MATH 2340 years)
