HIST 1311 World History, Part I

Students survey major themes in the settlement by humans in the physical environment from Prehistory. The main emphasis is on the complex interaction between human history and the environment as early societies develop. Special attention is paid to the technology that humans develop to control the world around them. Fulfills CORE requirement.
