EDSI 2375 Earth/Space Science for Elementary Teachers
This course will examine the content of Earth and space science as well as instructional and assessment procedures for science teaching in EC-6 classrooms. Earth and space science concepts will be developed through problem solving and hands-on activities. The course will focus on earth systems, weather, climate, the solar system, the scientific method, and science pedagogy. The primary goal of this course is to gain knowledge and skills that will prepare teacher candidates for science teaching.
