ARTS 3360 Photography II: Documentary Photography

In this course students study and create photographs within the context of straight, black-and-white documentary photography. Included in the course are a consideration of the difficulty of photographing objectively, a study of image and text to create a document, and an investigation of the personal document. Meets 5 studio hours a week. Fee. May be taken as a Cultural Studies elective.
