Occupational Therapy Assistant (A.A.S.)

Occupational Therapy Assistant Course Descriptions

The Occupational Therapy Assistant program teaches students about the delivery of occupational therapy care and provides both classroom instruction in occupational therapy techniques as well as practical training in a clinical setting.  Major areas of instruction are: fundamentals of practice, psychology, human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, occupational therapy treatment medias, clinical reasoning, and fieldwork experience.

A. 18 Hours General Education Core Requirements:
