MUTH 4188 Music Therapy Services Center

This course provides the opportunity for upper class music therapy students, with their advisor's consent, to work with individuals on a weekly basis. They will function as a primary music therapist, with weekly supervision. Students will be responsible for all paperwork required in the therapy. This course is an elective for music therapy majors who are in their junior or senior year. It can be taken prior to the internship. This course requires one hour for the therapy session and one hour for supervision, which are arranged. The sessions will take place in the music therapy services center.

Prerequisite

The students who take this course must have completed at least 2/3 of the music therapy degree courses with a grade of B or better. Instructor's permission is required.
