ENGL 4320 Period Studies

Part of the Literary Studies and Criticism branch of the UIW English Program, this course examines the interplay of literary texts, literary theory and criticism, authors, historical culture, and events within a specific historic timeframe. Rather than a broad sweep, or a wide lens, this course will approach the subject through the close-up. This course may be repeated for credit when the topic varies.

Prerequisite

ENGL 1312, 2310, and 2360. May be taken as a CLST elective. (Summer, Spring, alternate years)
