BIOL 4377 Research in Behavioral Physiology
This course is an upper division research course for biology majors. We will cover the physiology and behavior of electric fish, focusing on the South American knifefish. Students will read assigned scientific research papers for background information, design experiments, prepare research proposals and carry out their experiments working in groups. They will also analyze and report their results in the form of a final research paper and oral presentation. Instructor permission required. Fee. (Spring, odd numbered years)
